Kafkorama Gateway is written in Java and runs on all major operating systems: Linux, macOS, Windows, and potentially any system that supports OpenJDK Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 8 or later.
The gateway is distributed with 64-bit installers for RPM-based and DEB-based Linux distributions. A platform-independent zip/tarball is also available.
Ensure that Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 8 or later is installed on your system before installing and running Kafkorama Gateway.
For production environments, it is recommended to use a machine with at least 4 CPU cores. The actual requirement may increase depending on the data throughput and the number of simultaneous clients.
For production deployments, 8 GB or more of RAM is recommended, depending on the data load and the number of concurrent clients.
